For this episode, we screen a landmark movie: Sidney Lumet’s Network. This masterpiece satire examines the outsized influence of television on our daily lives. It continues to be frighteningly relevant to this day. Network won numerous awards, including Oscars for Peter Finch, Faye Dunaway, and Beatrice Strait. Paddy Chayefsky also won his third screenwriting Academy Award.
