Hawkeye

Hawkeye, Marvel's latest series on Disney+, was a surprisingly strong take on the Avengers' weakest link.  Too often, heavy-hitters like Thor, Iron Man, and Captain America take center-stage, while Clint Barton ends up as a supporting player.  This series finally fills a few key elements of the Hawkeye backstory, while also adding some important new characters to Phase Four.  Hailee Steinfeld makes an especially strong impression as Kate Bishop, Barton's new protege.

For this side-pod, we discuss our feelings on Hawkeye's six-episode run.  Once again, SPOILERS ABOUND, so proceed with caution.

As for wine, we enjoyed a little Bow and Arrow Pinot Noir.  It's a bright, cherry-flavored burst of easy-drinking red wine.  Pinot Noirs stand alongside Gamay as some of the most binge-friendly reds out there.
