12 Monkeys (1995)

Our Time Travel adventure continues with Terry Gilliam's 12 Monkeys. This mid-90s classic stars Bruce Willis, Brad Pitt, and Madeleine Stowe.  Gilliam delivers a mind-bending epic, and the three leads deliver some of the best performances of their careers.  After the dispiriting Hot Tub Time Machine,this movie was a welcome return to form.

To pair with this film, we drink some delicious Txakolina from Spain.  This is a crisp, acidic, lightly fizzy white wine from Spain.  It has fruity textures, low alcohol, and makes the perfect aperitif.
